Just wondered if anybody on here knows whether in the following circumstances the 04:30 transport day change for fares purposes is relevant.
This is for TfL travel only, within London, Oyster not contactless, bus only.
Board night bus at 0400
Board second night bus at 0450
The 0430 day...
Just a word of warning about this, you don’t mention when you’re travelling, but this weekend I believe there may be no Elizabeth line in the central London core area.
Further information here...
I’m pretty sure I’ve seen signs at Tottenham Court Road Elizabeth line stating very definitely that ticket on departure (ToD) is not available.
I assume Bond Street is the same.
Happy to be corrected

- To book that ticket via a journey planner, I may need to buy it for a train which departs...
Condition 4.2 states (my bold)

Whenever I need to start a journey short (ie my ticket is valid from stations before the point at which I board the train) I always buy paper tickets to avoid the issues...
The 1 in 5 “million pounds plus” households are probably in London, Greater London and se England with most of that tied up in their property. They are possibly cash poor in properties they can’t or don’t wish to sell (bc it’s their lifelong home) and have high running costs.
They may have...
I think this makes sense, but what’s unfortunate is that advance fares are marketed to passengers by the industry as fares like any other which just offer increased restrictions in return for a reduced price when bought in advance with the idea that the longer in advance you book, the bigger the...
This was from an email sent to me by TfL when I asked if I could have the refund to my web account. They said that unfortunately it’s no longer an option. I haven’t seen it documented online but they have now refunded to my bank account.
