The weather is quite strange at the minute, the last few weeks have seen (in Leicestershire) some days up to 23C, it rained most of yesterday and down to only 14C today!
I agree they seem to be quite reliable so far. As far as I know priority is for further diagrams for Cross City as 323s are needed for Northern. 2 323s in preparation for Northern went to Wolverton the other day hence why a 3rd Cross City diagram now.
Not only that but Blackpool is not cheap! Many hotels especially on the front can be very pricey, the local Wetherspoons are more expensive than other Wetherspoons too (like London ones but not quite as expensive). The only cheap place there is the Ardwick pub which is the cheapest in the...
LNR out of Euston they were. Hope that helps. Weekdays (non strike days) there are 4 diagrams out of Euston, 3 peak hour and one all day, no weekend duties yet I dont think out of Euston.
Sorry quick question Class 700s are opetated by Thameslink and you say a few run to Kings Lynn however only Great Northern operate to Kings Lynn so are they hired out?
Thanks for the info. I dont think 730010 has been used much? Well over half now accepted for use.
We just need some more diagrams, especially with more 323s leaving very soon. Thanks again! :)
According to part-time spotter 730010 is in service today, (Wolves-Walsall) not sure if this has been seen in service as might be it's first day? Out of 730001-730022 only 004 and 017 not been reported in service according to part-time spotter which I check daily, unless i've missed any...
Yes apologies, I thought there was only 2 out- I think we can all agree its not ideal for the poor passengers having to squeeze on 2 car units. I can't remember the Northern 195 having so many issues as the 197s, WMT have 2 196s still to accept due to issues. According to RTT a pair of 153s and...
According to RTT four departures from Manchester were Mk4, 2 morning and 2 afternoon, the Mk 4 thread today says only 1 diagram out possibly too today. Problem is 27 175s plus 12 170s have left and at the min the number of 197 diagrams is similar to that fleet so we've not gained much in terms...
I went from Kettering to Leicester on Tues 9th April on 15.22 train. This off peak train was surprisingly busy. Trains at Leicester were also busy.
Meanwhile the Birmingham-Leicester route in my opinion is much busier than it's ever been during weekend and in the week too getting busy.
