Just unearthed a box of many 100s of American Railway Timetables - 1950s/60s/70s might be a few more recent but not fully sorted .

Its a full A to Z from - Atlantic Coast Line Railroad to VIA Rail Canada and 50+ Different Companies in between .

The Art and Style of Era comes through and Lines and Routes are most evocative .

If people have a favourite line or company i can look through and check , if you have wants or gaps in your collection do please just ask .

I have scanned a number so far to show and start to tell the story , i will over the next month or two try and the whole collection up on my site at Transport Past Times

What a treasure trove

My personal favourites are Atlantic Coast Line and Seaboard Air Line - late 1950s to early 1960s ('golden years' of F units, before the railroads merged). I'd love to see the information in their timetables.

The ACL and SAL examples you attached in post #1, are from 1964 and that's perfect.

A few more extra scans this week , plenty of stylish Locos and Rolling stock on display .

Would be interested in The Empire Builder, but earlier than that above, back and of WW2/late Forties, if any such comes to light? Please PM me if you do come across such, although I do wonder if the US stopped publishing TT's for the duration, or certainly post Dec 7/41?

I will keep looking , does not appear to be anything from the War Time Years .

Oldest in the box appears to be 1902 Boston & Maine , some mid & late 1930s Central Vermont Railway , a lovely 1937 Chicago & North Western pocket booklet , and the 1949 Pennsylvanian Rail Road Timetable . All scans below
