Exactly what you should expect with anything go ahead runs
And there’s no point in NYCC going around stripping contracts given how few operators are willing to take on service bus work in the area - take away Transdev, Reliance and EYMS and you’re not left with many options in the entire county.

Seems like some people (here and elsewhere) are desperate for EY to fail.

Forget the name wonder how long before North Yorkshire Council revokes the contracts. Todays pm 82 including a school service driver forgot at call at Boroughbridge High School, not realising until getting to Ripon

with a consequential knock on of the 1615 Ripon-Knaresborough running over half a hour late.
Its one shambles after another from them.
NYC will have steps to go through before getting to contract revocation unless EY were found to be doing something really bad like falsifying contract returns or got their licence curtailed by the TC for maintenance issues.

The contract is only a month in, if the issue still persists in 6 months then NY might be at the stage of revoking the contract - but they could only do one unless the same issues were repeated across all contracts.

Talk of contract revocation is extremely premature. They are having some teething problems but East Yorkshire aren't some fly by night operator. IIRC, there were similar issues when Transdev took on the Ribble Country services. It'll calm down as drivers get familiar with routes.

Has it been mentioned that to accomodate the "North Riding" operation, Pocklington no longer run the X46/X47 services, they are now run entirely from Hull

This is except the 20:10 York to Pocklington which uses a North Riding E200MMC
