For anyone interested, the always excellent 'Railways Remembered' film screenings are on again at Newark Palace Theatre at 19.30 on Thursday 9 May as per here:
Specific details of films to be shown are not posted up as yet, but the screenings usually include a themed selection of films including rescued home movie material, British Transport Films, other historic railway industry films etc.
If Newark is in travelling distance for the evening this is highly recommended in my view. Excellent theatre venue for the screenings too.
