Would this be East Southsea station - terminus of the branch from Fratton? I am sure it was replaced by a bus garage and it was certainly an early closure.

It was Sandgate which was actually at Seabrook and close to Shorncliffe Camp part of which is still used by the Army. The original intention was that the line should continue to Folkestone Harbour but that never got beyond the planning stage.Sandgate?
