Distinct engine sound passed through City Line about midnight last night - presume heading for Pontypridd with latest 398, to then be towed back to Taffs Well depot for storage

How many Class 398’s are now at Taffs Well ?

Is the Taffs Well Depot close to being completed and therefore able to hold the 36 Tram Trains that are on order

From above 001 & 003 - 015 so 14, and no not near completion.

I believe 002 is at Old Dalby but have no idea if 016 - 036 have been built yet.

Maybe somebody could advise?

398002 is at Taffs Well. The only one I haven't seen there is 015 however it is there as I've seen pictures of it.

I'm wondering if the deliveries are being held off as the road to the depot and out side the station is still being worked on. The usual way of delivery looks to be blocked off now so they'll have to wait for the main entrance to be ready

398002 is at Taffs Well. The only one I haven't seen there is 015 however it is there as I've seen pictures of it.

The distinct sounds of 20142 & 20189 passing through the City Line around midnight on a Friday have transported some of the 398 units to Taffs Well depot for storage

Completion of the Taffs Well depot may determine when further 398’s can be delivered
