Seen some rumours that these two Skodas (020 and 034) are being stored by DB. Is this true?

Ok, got the info from this:They were the only two active on February 2nd, as reported on WNXX. The DB Class 90 fleet certainly seems to be overlooked in favour of diesel traction at present, so it wouldn't be surprising if they were laid-up for a bit.
Agreed, dunno if “stored” means stored or out of service. No idea to be honest, we’ll have to wait and see.Wow! That would be a shame.
Looking at the stopped dates on WNXX again, they certainly seem to have been winding the fleet down. The following haven't worked this year:
90019 stopped Crewe for maintenance 29/9/22
90024 stopped 13/10/22
90028 stopped 15/12/22 (not showing as under maintenance)
90029 stopped 30/11/22
90035 stopped 15/12/22
90036 stopped 04/02/22

Are the 92s able to run on the WCML again? Knew there was a conversion programme taking place but didn’t know it was ready this quick?I wonder if this is coincidence, or if there’s a link between the 92s being able to run on the WCML again and the 90s being stored.
92011 ran light engine Crewe to Wembley recently after suitable modifications (similar to those that GBRf has applied to its fleet). Wider use of 92s will need more in traffic, however - those currently active are largely needed for Tunnel traffic. Are the 92s able to run on the WCML again? That’s excellent news, thanks both. The first, 92011, returned to the WCML on 24th January following modification to protect against interference with the signalling.

Heard something about the Carstairs closure. Why have DB's 90's been taken out of service and stored at Crewe?
I’m led to believe it isn’t a full scale return to work for DB’s 92s sadly, but a means of making it easier for them to travel from Dollands Moor to Crewe for maintenance. Shame, as it would be nice to see some of the DB fleet become more active again!92011 ran light engine Crewe to Wembley recently after suitable modifications (similar to those that GBRf has applied to its fleet). There needs to be something for them to move to do that! Sadly, Britain's economic activity has been somewhat sluggish of late and it's difficult to see exports or imports seriously pick up anytime soon, what with the regulatory fallout of Brexit still waiting for dust to settle, the war in Ukraine, and the general world economic malaise.I’m led to believe it isn’t a full scale return to work for DB’s 92s sadly, but a means of making it easier for them to travel from Dollands Moor to Crewe for maintenance. Less work for them ?Why have DB's 90's been taken out of service and stored at Crewe?
90050 will never turn a wheel in anger again.
On Google Maps there is another loco in front of 90050. On a recent YouTube video, however, it has gone. Does anybody know which this is/was?
Definately 86251, which was a spares donor for the FL 86 fleet, I believe it has now gone for scrap. On Google Maps there is another loco in front of 90050. On a recent YouTube video, however, it has gone. Does anybody know which this is/was?
If 4M25 no longer runs, then how does the return service (4S47) still run?Less work for them ?
A once regular turn for a pair of Class 90s, 4M25 Mossend - Daventry, hardly ever runs now. And some of the other liners I see at Winwick have lots of empty space.

If the 90s were under government operations and too expensive to run, they would probably be withdrawn too. Look how expensive electricity and parts are these daysI have exactly the same opinion on the poor use of 92s. It is a travesty that these foreign freight companies are allowed to ruin our railways like this. So much for a greener future! We’re going one step forward and 100 backwards.
Oh yes, and, Freightliner use 90s all the time out of Crewe towards Coatbridge and Ipswich and they don’t seem to be taking the same steps. This looks like a DB think I’m afraid. Time to end this nonsense.
And allox "0Z90" "WEDS" from Wembley to Crewe IEMD90039 remains in the active Class 90 pool (WEDC).
Well that’s it then. Wonder if they’ll ever return. And allox "0Z90" "WEDS" from Wembley to Crewe IEMD

They should have allocated it FARE and WELL !!!!!!
Very much so, 90039 (the last one) moved to Crewe yesterday and has subsequently been stored. Credit to Freightliner for keeping theirs going. So is this DBS 90 fleet storage story legit? Are they now out of traffic?
thanks- thought this was spotter wibble.Very much so, 90039 (the last one) moved to Crewe yesterday and has subsequently been stored. Credit to Freightliner for keeping theirs going.
