False alarm, the ECS run this morning from Southport to New Brighton was 507003 not 507011. It left from the same siding at Southport that 507011 is stabled in which led me to think it may have been 507011.I believe 507001 has ran ECS this morning to Southport to be stabled.
I also think 507011 may have also moved ECS over to New Brighton to be stabled - could anyone confirm if 507011 is now at New Brighton?

at least 3 months away, seems like somebody doesn’t trust the new tramsIs there a date for the final last appearance of a 507/8 on Merseyrail?
The 777s are not trams.at least 3 months away, seems like somebody doesn’t trust the new trams
They certainly have a tram feel to them though. The 777s are not trams.
So will they be around in July?at least 3 months away, seems like somebody doesn’t trust the new trams
Alternately it could be that a number of units are not based at Kirkdale yet and they will need to enter service before they replace the older ones ?at least 3 months away, seems like somebody doesn’t trust the new trams
You may have seen me at Brunswick but brilliant that 028s rheostatics are back on, I’ve heard plans of fixing 016s but I’m guessing they’re not true? The service cancelled was the 11.21 Hunts X - Southport and 507033 is the offender. What an awful riding unit it is as well I'm afraid, sounding fit to drop.
507028 is in charge of the subsequent service, the 11.51 and it is superb. Rheostatic in full voice, no squeaks and smooth riding. Apocalypically overcrowded, though!
I doubt they will bother with only a couple of months left, although 001's was surprisingly fixed in coach 64367 recently. 016 is also a notably troublesome set amongst the remaining 507s unfortunately. You may have seen me at Brunswick but brilliant that 028s rheostatics are back on, I’ve heard plans of fixing 016s but I’m guessing they’re not true?
