Lothian Group discussion (Lothian City, Lothian Country Bus and East Coast Buses)

I'm doubtful. It looks like it may've even been towed based on the lack of tracking between Longstone & Ferrymill.

Despite this it has now moved to Ferrymill Motors.

I believe at least one of the Airlink ones is longer -

510 looks to have minimal damage. The car involved is much worst.

They started Airlink, then split between Lothian (426-430) and Skylink (431-437). 431-437 later joined the city fleet still in Skylink colours operating services 45 and then 41 until they were repainted madder in 2021. As for the zoo ones, most of them were given a polish with lower panels...

I've wanted these vehicles to be repainted for over a year now but sadly it hasn't happened. They (426-430) were repainted in 2017 so are most certainly due a repaint, and I see no reason why they shouldn't as they are painting the XLBs which all have a newer paint job. Unless there are plans...

In my eyes, just taking advantage of it to compete, even though they aren't affected by the works prompting Airlink to move!

    Scottish Citylink

Good spot. The PDF timetable is attached (pages 5 and 10, other pages shows the old and new timetables combined). It will also serve Ballieston. Note the PDF only shows the direction towards Edinburgh. You would have to refer to one of the combined timetables for the times to Glasgow.

No idea. There could be. You could also have one in June or July, or later in the year. I'm doubtful they're following the same system that they have been in the last few years. Could there be one after a good number of the BZLs enter service?

There is no change then, simply. They change the general registration spreadsheet on a Monday which sites like bustimes.org receive data from. They also update notices and proceedings on a Monday. The bus registrations page can update any time during the week. The registration for the Bright...

Edinburgh Tour Operators: Bright Bus, Lothian (Majestic, Three Bridges) etc.

Or vehicles? Now the Edinburgh, Regal & Sightseeing tours are at pre-covid frequencies they may need all 30 open toppers to operate them, with no spares. This, alongside intended electric conversions. I have also heard that the 3 Bridges' Tour was a loss maker. If so, I wonder what Bright Bus...

In fairness, me and @FlybeDash8Q400 do try to keep the fleet list as reliable as possible. It's these incorrect edits which ruin things, although in this instance the edit had already been rejected before the post was added.

No 7900s have been or are being put in training livery. On occasion these buses do go out in service on peak journeys or as extra in service trips.

Edinburgh & The Lothians Council Tender Services

This may not necessarily end up being the case should an operator bid for another tender then merge the routes. However, an hourly service between Queensferry & Gyle is to be expected no matter what.

The notice was added on April 3rd. The previous messages here were on March 7th. There was a similar discussion when similar occurred in West Lothian.

Do correct me if I am wrong, but as per the Contract Award Notice, the following operators bid for West Edinburgh tenders (these are not the winners):
