We are pleased to announce that following a recent review into how the forum operates we will be making some additions to our moderating team.
Regular members will be aware that for the past few years we have had forum Quizmasters and Senior Fares Advisors who have enhanced moderating powers in certain forums. The main forum staff team feel that this has worked well in terms of providing a dedicated number of individuals to manage particular forums.
We are therefore pleased to announce that we are proposing on enlarging this concept to other forums and creating a new banner of 'Associate Staff' which the existing Quizmasters and Senior Fares Advisors will fall under.
Over the coming months we will be appointing new team members to become Moderators of the International Transport, Jobs & Careers, Buses & Coaches, and General Discussion forums. If a post or thread is reported within one of these sections it will be flagged to the Moderator(s) of the forum in which the post was made, in addition to the main forum staff team. We hope that this will lead to a faster response to any reports.
We are also formalising the role of the Events Co-ordinator, which has diligently been carried out by Starmill in the background for the past few months. His role will be to support the Forum Staff team organise the various social events such as the regular meets and meals, that are arranged through the forum.
Our initial appointments to look after the General Discussion forum are Cowley and Mag_seven. Appointments for the other forums mentioned above will follow on shortly.
