Rover Fares Increases

Am I imagining things or have there been some fare increases on rovers? When did these occur?

I was looking to use a Freedom of the Severn and Solent 3 in 7 days this weekend until I saw the price was £79.

Could have sworn that when I was asking about a fare a few weeks back that this rover was suggested to me and was priced at about £45.

Seems a bit of a shame as it was a good deal and would have made a good weekend though I understand fares will increase from time to time.

I think you are looking at the wrong ticket.

Freedom of Severn and Solent 3 in 7 is £45
Freedom of South West 3 in 7 is £79

Though I have now checked FGW website and the prices you state are correct. Looks like I missed out this weekend then and should have checked properly.

I think (hope!!) that the link you have posted is incorrect.

While NRE is not always *the* reliable source of info it should be, it is saying £45: http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/times_fares/pr8bb6ac0a0400040155984b49bbe4b3.aspx

I used this rover back in June at the £45 price (well, mine was r/card discounted but you know what I mean)

Does indeed seem to be an error. FGW and NRE show it at £45. Suppose I should have checked these places to be sure. Will do in future!
