As COVID-19 continues to reduce in prevalence, and its effects on society reduce, it is inevitable that the amount of discussion in this dedicated section of the forum is starting to fall. While there is a hope that, in the medium term, there will no longer be any purpose for this section, in the short term it is clear that it remains a helpful resource and space for discussion for some of us. The forum staff have therefore made the decision to change how this section is run:
- Threads that have run their course and/or been inactive for some time have now been locked. We are happy to consider reopening specific threads if is there is a significant update or change in circumstances which raises new discussion points.
- We have left a small number of the most active/ongoing threads open for discussion. These tend to be the broad "catch all" threads, so should hopefully allow ongoing discussion across a broad range of areas.
- Members will no longer be able to post new threads. If you think there is something which warrants a new thread (e.g. a significant new scientific development), please report this post and the team will consider your request.
