We then get the 1710 Northern train from York (platform 8) to Poppleton arriving 1717 on the Thursday afternoon.

We walk (0.3 miles) to the Garden Centre stop at Upper Poppleton on the A59. There at 1819 we board Transdev York & Country service 22. We alight at Boroughbridge (St James' Square) at 1901 on Thursday.

That appears to be it for the night. We return for the 07.20 Harrogate Bus Company service 21 to Knaresborough Bus Station arriving at 08.00 on Friday.

We take the six minute/0.3 mile walk to the railway station and board the 0837 Northern service 2C13 to Burley Park, arriving there at 0914 on Friday morning.

I offer my most sincere apologies and for some reason, I thought the 11A and 11B also went via Orlestone

It must be round about 2005 when we last visited there whilst on holiday as we wanted to visit the very small 11th century church there.....
