Houghton St Giles
The journey preamble would suggest that you are heading more inland, as we are heading towards the coastline instead. Fakenham East was a terminal railway station on the Wells and Fakenham Railway.

I have been unable to trace the existence of a railway station serving Houghton St Giles in the direction you took (but did trace a station called Ryburgh). Our family has visted Houghton St Giles a number of times in the past, as this is the location of the RC Slipper Chapel on the pilgrimage route to Walsingham.
